What to Eat When You’re Too Tired to Cook

Do you ever come home from a long day of work and the thought of cooking dinner feels like a daunting task? Or maybe you had a busy weekend and the last thing you want to do is spend more time in the kitchen. Trust me, I've been there too.

But here's the thing, just because you're too tired to cook, it doesn't mean you have to resort to ordering takeout or eating junk food. There are plenty of healthy options that require little to no effort and can still satisfy your hunger.

So, what do you eat when you're too tired to cook? The answer is simple: plan ahead.

One of my personal go-to strategies is to have a stash of "Dump Dinners" in my freezer. These are pre-prepared slow cooker meals that can be thrown into a pot and cooked without any additional effort. All I have to do is grab one from the freezer and let it cook while I relax or finish up some work.

You might be wondering what exactly a "Dump Dinner" is. Basically, it's a meal that you can prep ahead of time by combining all of the ingredients in a freezer-friendly bag or container. When you're ready to cook, you simply dump everything into a slow cooker or instant pot and let it do the work for you.

Some of my favourite dump dinner recipes include chili, soup, stew, and curry. They're packed with protein, veggies, and healthy carbs to keep you fueled and satisfied.

Now, I know what you might be thinking: "But I don't have time to meal prep!" And that's where my free guide, Meal Prep Mastery, comes in.

I've put together a week's worth of dump dinner recipes along with step-by-step instructions on how to prep and freeze them. It's the ultimate guide for anyone who wants to eat healthy but doesn't have the time or energy to spend hours in the kitchen.

The power of planning ahead and having contingency meals on hand is truly life-changing. It takes away the stress and guilt that can come with reaching for unhealthy options or skipping meals altogether. With a little bit of effort up front, you can have delicious and nutritious meals ready to go whenever you need them.

So next time you're feeling too tired to cook, remember that there are healthy options out there. Give dump dinners a try and see how they can make your life a whole lot easier.
